Tidal & Kohler Team-Up for 'Web Site Excellence'
It’s less than 8 hours away from the OMMA Awards reception in New York City, and we’re thoroughly pleased to be a finalist in the Web Excellence: Home category. Tidal’s work with the renowned home brand Kohler truly exemplifies our extraordinary platform that connects creators and brands in a unique way.
The OMMA Awards were created in 2004 to recognize and honor both agencies and advertisers that push the potential of digital advertising. Tidal and Kohler’s nominated campaign falls under the “Web Site Excellence” category, with awards going to Web publishers and/or Web developers whose websites show outstanding content, visual design and user interface creating value for users. We think our work stands above the others nominated in our category.
Kohler’s iconic “As I See It” print advertising campaign needed to extend into the social media age, across many social channels. Tidal worked with Kohler to import their huge archive of content, how-to articles, home tours and more, into one unified, visually-rich destination. Behind the scenes, our Tidal Platform powered the content management, contributor network, product catalog integration and key analytics.
The results are evident: Kohler Home Ideas is now a core part of the brand’s inspiration-centric new website. Collaborators such as influential bloggers and online celebrity artists have styled collections of evocative pictures, swatches and videos since the Tidal Platform was implemented. It’s this demonstrable level of success that pushed Tidal and Kohler into the nominee category for an industry-recognized accolade.
